Vanuatu financial services commission
The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission, better known as the VFSC, is the financial regulatory agency of the Republic of Vanuatu. Established in 1993, it is responsible for the supervision of investment businesses, trusts and company service providers.
VFSC has a number of other duties, including administering the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, International Banking Act and Financial Institutions Act. It is also tasked with protecting the people and businesses of the Republic of Vanuatu and elsewhere against financial loss, while enhancing the country’s reputation as a global centre of finance.
